Born and raised in France. After graduating from one of the Grandes Ecoles, ENSEA in 2003, enrolled at Tokyo Institute of Technology, Graduate School of Information Science and Engineering, Department of Computer Science (Furui Lab) and got a Master of Science in 2006,  in speech recognition and natural language processing. Upon graduation, joined a British financial securities firm for a few months. Left in 2007 and co-founded Descartes Search, LLC with his fraternal twin brother, Julien. In 2009, he co-founded again with his brother a venture support technical consulting firm, BunkerSofa, LLC.

Jim focuses on international tech recruiting & blockchain/emerging tech business development and evangelism, especially US-Japan. At ConsenSys, he created and executed plans for the Tokyo office, sourced opportunities and partnerships with Japanese and US enterprises, evangelized Ethereum and decentralization, and participated in the due diligence team for the in-house venture capital investment platform, Coven. Previously, he also served as VP of Strategic Alliances at ISI-Dentsu, the IT systems integrator group company of Dentsu, and worked in business development for LiDAR sensors used in autonomous vehicles.

Co-founder

Born and raised in France. Upon graduation in 2006, joined a leading French electrical company and was in charge of the sales of ultrasonic sensors as a sales engineer. Left in 2007 and co-founded Descartes Search, LLC, with his fraternal twin brother, Pascal. In 2009, he co-founded again with his brother a venture support technical consulting firm, BunkerSofa, LLC.

Very sadly, he passed away from this world in November 2019 but he is always in our hearts and minds, and overseeing the operations of the company in a different way.
